The Dirt on Organic Gardening is a digital magazine for the urban organic gardeners. Articles vary from step-by-step how-tos for beginning organic gardeners to articles of interest for long-time, established green thumbs.
The Dirt is published by Garage Broadband, a division of Precision Wordage Inc. The company is based in Pasadena, California, where the climate encourages year-round gardening.
Publisher and Editor in Chief is Su Falcon. Su has worked in and around writing, editing and publishing since the early Seventies. She has a backyard garden with raised beds and containers, and keeps a small flock of chickens for fresh eggs.
Co-publisher and Chief Technology Officer is Michele Bousquet. Michele has a Masters Degree in Computer Science with a focus on forensics. Michele also acts as marketing consultant. She has worked as a writer and marketer since the late Eighties, and loves bringing her experience and expertise to The Dirt.
The magazine has a full roster of writers. Since these change occasionally, you can look in the back of any issue to see that issue’s contributors.
Garage Broadband also publishes other books and periodicals. Click to see some of these.
